I’m hungry. Where am I allowed to eat?
Overall, we’re trying to minimize the amount of time NYUers go without masks indoors when others are around, so here are your options for eating, in declining order of recommendation:
Eat outside
New York is lovely in the fall! Plus, eating outside is the best and safest option.
Find a Quick Stop
NYU’s Quick Stop locations are located around campus expressly for this purpose. You can find a list of them on the
NYU Returns website, as well as in the
Scan and Reserve app (though you cannot reserve these spaces). Once you’ve located a spot, please limit yourself to 15 minutes for eating and drinking. And please don’t linger - you could be holding up the next ravenous student.
For your added convenience, NYU has created these handy maps highlighting
indoor and
outdoor locations closeby that are appropriate spots for eating.
And finally, while we know it can be rough—especially during those late classes—eating in classrooms and seminars is always prohibited. So please be safe and plan your day accordingly.
