Starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 9/23, students can come in and pick up free fall goodies!  We will have mini pumpkins, fresh local apples, apple cider, and caramel apple lollipops ~ yum!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens on October 1st each year, and it is extremely important for students to complete it as soon as possible to meet UMA's FAFSA priority deadline and to ensure they receive the most "free financial aid" possible.

Many scholarships use the FAFSA submission date when selecting awardees.  The State of Maine Grant also uses the FAFSA submission date for eligibility.

Dori Leadbetter, with the Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC), is here most Thursdays 10am-2pm to help students complete their FAFSA.  Dori will also help students search for and apply for scholarships, assist with accepting or declining their financial aid award, complete any financial aid paperwork that may be needed, and connect students to school and community resources, etc.

Our Student Association (SA) will meet on Wednesday, 9/23 at 2:30pm here at URock.

This workshop, to be held tomorrow Wednesday, 9/23, will provide guidance on navigating the graduate school application process, from choosing the right program and securing funding to determining if it's the right choice for your career.

The Rockland District Nursing Association (RDNA) will hold its annual Basket Social on Saturday, September 26th, from 9am to 12pm at the Rockland Congregational Church (change of venue due to weather forecast).  It's not just a bake sale!

There will be incredible gift baskets that will be raffled off, storytime, face painting, and fun scarecrows for the kids, and their delicious, curated bake sale!
