A new partnership between Clemson University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Sapir College will harness the unique strengths of each institution to drive innovation and sustainability in agriculture. Jagger Harvey (pictured left), global agriculture expert and director of the Clemson Global Research Initiative, is leading Clemson’s involvement on joint research initiatives focusing on agricultural, nutritional, and environmental issues relevant to both Israel and South Carolina.

The search committee has been appointed by President Clements to begin the process of identifying a successor for Provost Bob Jones, who announced his forthcoming retirement. Provost Jones will continue through Fall 2025 as needed to assist with the transition. After consultation with the faculty senate and in accordance with the Faculty Manual, the committee is comprised of 10 faculty members, three staff members and two students.

- This spring, the Brook T. Smith Launchpad hosted its first annual Women in Entrepreneurship Symposium. The event included panels, networking opportunities and guest speakers aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs and exploring new opportunities.
