Helping Others in Their Time of Need
Food insecurity can become more of an issue at this time of year, and the government shutdown has taken a further toll across our community. I commend the Food Bank of North Alabama for their tireless diligence as the demand rises for food assistance. If you are in need of assistance or would like to help those who are helping others, please reach out to the Food Bank of North Alabama.
And don't forget to spread the word about the aid available through the Food Bank of North Alabama or the opportunities to join their effort.

Nurses are a critical part of delivering quality healthcare in Huntsville and I enjoyed learning more about how nurses of the future learn at the Simulation Learning & Innovation Center (SLIC) at the The University of Alabama in Huntsville’s College of Nursing. It’s a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology that supports immersive clinical simulations, providing students with realistic, hands-on experiences.
