Federal ARP Student Emergency Assistance

New guidance now allows federal emergency assistance for Maryland Dreamers, DACA students, and other similar undocumented students. International students studying under F1 and on other visas are also eligible to apply. Click here to log in with your MyMC credentials to access the application.

Early Childhood Education Virtual Job Fair

Early Childhood Education Programs at MC and the Office of Student Employment Services are hosting a virtual job fair with three employers- Easter Seals, Maryland Child Services, Inc., and Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day. The event is on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. To learn more information about the employers and what qualifications you will need, please pre-register for the fair here.

Spanish Language Video: Following Your Passion

Pablo Callejo shares how he found post-secondary education at Montgomery College. He signed up to learn English and continued with nursing. As he studied art, he discovered his passion for the arts and changed his major. Pablo is now a Lab Coordinator at Montgomery College's Visual and Performance Arts department.

Community Engagement Student Highlight

Kenia Ayala was one of the recipients of the Community Engagement scholarships. Kenia is currently doing an internship at a childcare center, and she is also studying for the nail technician exam to get her license and open her own business. Kenia expressed her gratitude to the Montgomery College Foundation and Identity Inc. for the scholarship opportunity to help her achieve her goal.

"These scholarships were very important to me because as an immigrant, the cost for classes can be too much and oftentimes, there are very limited to no opportunities. With the help of my parents and thanks to you, everything can be possible" - Kenia Ayala
