Blue Jay Family Feature: Meet the Mayers“She’s a traditional freshman: indecisive. I actually bought her a t-shirt with all her prospective majors on it.” Jonelle Mayers is speaking of her daughter Lajaé, who joined the Johns Hopkins University class of 2023 this fall.
Lajaé has certainly earned the right to explore her academic options. She has been focused on her dream of becoming a pediatrician since she was a child. And when the time came to apply to college, she approached the process with a similar focus.
