| Apply for an Osher Scholarship! |
Do you know someone who is thinking about starting or restarting college but isn't sure how to make it happen? The Osher New Beginnings Scholarship is a great option!
The Osher Scholarship can fully cover one or two classes and provides a cost-free way for students to find out if college is a good fit for them. Â
Recipients must be residents of Maine and have earned either a high school diploma or its equivalent.Â

| Local Food Assistance Resources |
Across Maine and the nation, families are struggling with food insecurity. During this difficult time, many organizations offer support to members of the community who are in need. AIO, St Bernard Soup Kitchen, and Salvation Army Food Pantry are all Rockland-based food assistance organizations.Â

| Maine Sport's Turkey Ride |
Join Maine Sport Outfitters in supporting local food pantries at their 7th annual turkey ride. The ride will begin at 9am, Saturday, November 15th, at Maine Sport Outfitters in Rockport. From there, bikers will ride to Hannaford to purchase turkeys and then to the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry (CACFP) to donate them.Â

With the generosity of United Midcoast Charities, the UMA Rockland Center has the capacity to cover the cost of one course to support students in Knox or Waldo counties who wish to re-enter college after a life-changing event interrupted their academic pursuits. Contact us for details.
