Good morning! Honors College students have created a nonprofit to provide interactive STEM education toolkits to middle schools. The Career Fair begins today; CCIT's High Performance Computing (HPC) Day is set for this Friday.

What to know today:

What began as a competition entry for a group of Clemson Honors College students has evolved into a nonprofit initiative called ARCS-Ed (Advancing Rural Communities through STEM Education), aimed at transforming how middle schoolers across South Carolina engage with science.

The Fall Career Fair begins today and runs through Thursday at Littlejohn Coliseum. More than 400 employers and alumni representing a wide range of industries will visit campus to explore and discuss internship and full-time job opportunities with students.

Healthy Campus is offering Tigers Together Suicide Prevention Advocacy Trainings at the end of September and October. Open to all students, faculty and staff, this experiential training enhances advocates’ knowledge, awareness and skills concerning college student suicide.

Clemson’s Research Computing and Data (RCD) group is hosting its inaugural High Performance Computing (HPC) Day event to showcase HPC research and education this Friday, September 26, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Watt Family Innovation Center. Registration is free and open to all.

Emeritus College Director Debbie Jackson and Professor Emeritus Cecil Huey will speak at a panel hosted by the Association of Retirement Organizations in Higher Education (AROHE) on the importance of community building in retirement organizations, with a focus on shared writing experiences. The panel will take place on November 13 at 3 p.m.
