Opening Week Mass of the Holy Spirit
| |
Save the Date for Mass of the Holy Spirit on Friday, August 25, at 10 a.m., in the Alumni Arena, when we ask the Holy Spirit to guide and inspire our academic year together. This Mass of the Holy Spirit is a tradition of Catholic higher education dating back to the 16th century.
Everyone is invited to attend no matter your faith tradition. What a great blessing to begin each year with a tradition like this one, to come together with His Excellency Bishop David J. Bonnar, 6th Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown and University Chaplain Fr. Guy Albert Trudel, O.P., to reflect as a community before God on the journey that lies ahead. Please dress nicely and remember that Holy Communion is reserved for Catholics who are not guilty of serious sin. Classes held between 9:50-11:30 a.m. are cancelled so all of CAV Nation can participate.
