Shake off winter's chill at our March Gladness Luncheon, where we'll trade basketballs for belly laughs in this joyful spring event. A catered Southern BBQ meal will be on the menu, followed by a heaping helping of toe-tapping entertainment provided by Something Good. See catalog, page 8.

The ILR Spring 2025 Catalog began landing in mailboxes this week. Registration will open on Monday, but there's no need to wait. If you plan to register by mail, you're welcome to complete and send your registration form today. Then, on March 3rd, mailed registrations will be processed in the order received.

Generous thanks

ILR's mission thrives thanks to the generous support of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, and advertisers. We're thrilled to announce that Berkeley Square is again sponsoring our spring semester. In addition, they will be hosting both our ILR Annual Meeting and Ice Cream Social and an exclusive tour of their beautiful community for our members and non-members. Sign-ups for these events—offered back-to-back on Friday, May 9—will take place during ILR's normal semester registration. See catalog, pages 8 and 10, for the details.

Since 1997, we've been dedicated to making a lasting impact on lifelong learners, both locally and beyond. We express our heartfelt thanks to Berkeley Square and all our supporters for their continued trust in us as we work to make a meaningful difference.

Call for proposals

No, not that kind—although this is a charming photo.

Harness the knowledge you've acquired throughout your career, travels, hobbies, and lifetime, and transform those experiences into an intriguing course for ILR. Current, past, and new instructors can now teach for ILR from anywhere in the world. We are currently collecting virtual, hybrid, and in-person course proposals for next fall's semester, October 6 through November 7, 2025.

Although the proposal pictured isn't quite what we had in mind, we'll look forward to your course proposal just as much. We will be accepting course proposals—diamonds optional—until May 30. Everyone has a passion, hobby, profession, or skill worth sharing. Submit your ILR fall 2025 course proposal. Chances are very good that the answer will be yes!
