Due to the hazardous conditions, Clemson University’s main campus will conduct e-learning activities Tuesday, Jan. 27. No in-person classes will meet, and all instruction should be delivered in an online modality. Additional updates and information for employees are available.

Clemson University earned several accolades in the recent U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Online Education Rankings. The College of Education and the College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences received recognition, including the No. 1 Online Master's in Education and the No. 11 Best Online Master's in Industrial Engineering.

Clemson Football announced its full 2026 regular season schedule last night. The Tigers will open the season at LSU on Saturday, Sept. 5, before hosting their home opener against Georgia Southern on Saturday, Sept. 12.

As South Carolinians begin storm cleanup, Clemson Cooperative Extension urges residents to use extra caution when operating chainsaws to clear fallen trees and debris. Key chainsaw safety reminders, helpful videos and hands-on workshops help reduce injury risk during post-storm tree removal.

Chemist Kirkland Sheriff has received an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to continue his research on developing sensors that rapidly detect explosives and other hazardous materials.

A seven-year research project studying human trafficking, led by industrial engineering professor Tom Sharkey, worked with survivors to provide nonprofits, law enforcement and policymakers with a clearer picture of how trafficking works.

Student Health Services is holding a four-week mindfulness series based on an evidence-based program from The Duke Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults. Classes will take place from 12:15 to 1 p.m. throughout February. Register to take part in the series.
