Hello everyone and thank you for your participation in the nEXT Generation project! This is our weekly memo for internal Cooperative Extension colleagues. We appreciate your continued support and would like to remind you to please share your feedback with us. You can do that by either emailing nextgencommunications@ces.uwex.edu or by submitting your feedback through a new Google Form on the project website’s homepage. We look forward to hearing from you!
Family Living Current Assessment Summaries
As part of the nEXT Generation project, consultants from Huron completed a current assessment of Cooperative Extension’s Family Living (FL) program area between October and December 2016. You can find a summary of the Family Living current assessment findings  on the project website under Work Group Findings. Reminder: Current assessments for all Cooperative Extension program areas, including CNRED and 4-H&YD, can be found on the project website under Work Group Findings.
New Recommendations from the Integration Work Group
Another set of nEXT Generation project recommendations are available for review and comment on the project website. These recommendations focus on how Cooperative Extension will nurture, manage and support campus partnerships in the future. The recommendations are available on our project website using this link.
Dean Martin is working with the individual campus deans to receive their feedback on these particular recommendations. Additional feedback from our colleagues and stakeholders will be accepted via email or fax until March 31 at 5:00pm. For those without internet or e-mail access, feedback can be faxed to “nEXT Generation Project Communications” at 608-265-4545.) Anyone interested in providing feedback should send an email to nextgencommunications@ces.uwex.edu with the subject “Campus Recommendations Feedback.” Feedback will be collected, documented and considered by the Integration Work Group before finalizing their recommendations.
Contacts in Office of Human Resources
As we announced in February, the human resources services currently provided by the Cooperative Extension Human Resources Development (HRD) office are transitioning to the institutional Office of Human Resources (OHR). As you continue to work with your colleagues in the Coop HRD office, you will also begin to work with new human resources colleagues in OHR. We have posted a contact list on the project website to assist you in any HR needs you may have during this transition time. Please note: this list is not meant to serve as a comprehensive list of HR related service, but should be a reference point for any questions or requests.
