LSU STEM Pathways provides Louisiana students with hands-on, industry-aligned courses in fields like computing, engineering, and pre-med to prepare them for high-demand careers. Through partnerships with schools, businesses, and higher education institutions, the program offers specialized training, dual enrollment opportunities, and industry-based certifications. 

LSU Dual Enrollment’s Choice Credit modality gives high school students the chance to experience college-level coursework in a no-risk environment. With free training for school instructors and SCA-eligible courses at just $100 per credit hour, this program helps students build academic confidence while earning college credit. Students have 10 days after course completion to opt in or out of their LSU transcript at no additional cost. 

The National STEM Excellence Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. This prestigious program offers a $10,000 scholarship to support your undergraduate studies in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Up to 100 scholarships will be awarded. Application Deadline: April 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time, or when 1,500 applications are submitted, whichever comes first.
