More volunteers needed to deliver prescription medications!

Since the beginning of the pandemic, our GLMS members have partnered with our GLMS Foundation in delivering vital prescription medications to low-income quarantined patients in our community in conjunction with the Louisville Metro Public Health and Wellness Department. Recently, there has been a huge uptick in daily prescription delivery requests, and we need your help to meet this increasing demand. Without this program, these patients may not otherwise have access to their prescriptions. If you (or anyone in your practice or family) have any availability to help with these deliveries, please sign up here.

Join the GLMS Policy & Advocacy team as we prepare for the Spring 2021 Legislative Session. The meeting will take place on Monday, Nov. 16 at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. RSVP here and we will send you the meeting credentials. We look forward to seeing you then!

Louisville area physicians are still struggling to find vital PPE items for their practices and prices have skyrocketed. The GLMS Foundation is hosting an ongoing PPE collection drive to support physician practices and meet this need. A full list of new, unopened, non-expired items in need can be found here. If you would like to help but do not have PPE to donate, monetary donations can be made to the GLMS Foundation here. Every dollar donated is matched by the Foundation to purchase new PPE for this important cause.
