Clemson University’s Board of Trustees has authorized final negotiations and execution of an inter-institutional affiliation agreement between Clemson and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to expand access to high-quality health services on main campus, including a new 90,000-square-foot facility to replace the Redfern Health Center.

The Belle W. Baruch Institute of Coastal Ecology and Forest Science will host its annual “Behind the Gate” event at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 25. The event offers a unique opportunity for the public to meet Clemson students and faculty and learn about their latest research and discoveries in coastal ecology and forest science.

Following a recent repair, Clemson University Emergency Management will test the outdoor warning siren at the Tiger Band practice field, adjacent to Perimeter Road and the Brooks Center, at 3:30 p.m. today. No action is necessary. Learn more about the outdoor sirens and alert notifications on the Emergency Management website.

Beginning Monday, July 21, westbound Perimeter Road will be reduced to a single lane between the intersection of Williamson Road and the entrance to the C-2 Parking Lot for approximately one week to accommodate utility work. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
