Two recent PatientsLikeMe studies have shed new light on the patient experience with health care and show that while opinions about care and provider performance vary according to condition, diverse patient groups agree on the top factors that constitute “good” care. (PatientsLikeMe, May 2018)

Interconnected: An Exploration of Improvement Efforts Connecting Patient Experience and Communication
Published in collaboration with the Academy of Communication in Healthcare, this paper explores the state of interpersonal communication practices in relationship to the patient experience outcomes in U.S. healthcare organizations from data collected through an online survey with 112 respondents and qualitative insights from selected phone interviews. (April 2018)
