March 28th Vintage & Couture Online Fashion Auction


Spring is finally upon us at our Vermont studio. While our customers worldwide have many reasons to be anxious, we have been busy behind the scenes putting together an exciting and unique fashion marketplace for you to enjoy - in the comfort of your own home or office.  Why not take a break from your challenging life for a few moments and explore the 204 fashion lots that we have showcased for our March 28 sale? Our spring auction will start  at 12 NOON Eastern Standard Time on March 28th.  There are now three ways to bid with us and participate fully in this sale. We have listed this sale with the two major auction platforms, INVALUABLE and LIVEAUCTIONEERS and you can register and bid online by clicking through their links above.
If you will not be available to bid online on sale day,  or don't feel comfortable with online bidding, please view the catalog on our website and place your bids anytime using the ABSENTEE BID FORM on our website homepage. This information input directly into our bidding computer so there's little chance your bid won't reach us if any technical difficulties occur on sale day with the online bidding platforms.

Babani, Pucci, Norell, Mme Gres, Silk visiting gowns, lace teagowns and day dresses spanning two centuries are included in the catalog. Also showcased are generous lots of lingerie, Katharine Hepburn hats and shoes, and many styles and types of evening bags. Most are museum de-accessions.e f

We are also pleased to offer an exciting variety of traditional clothing and textiles from around the world - Chinese and Japanese robes & jackets, embroidered gauze garments from Romania, French shawls and more. We've added an impressive collection of bathing suits, including a rare pre-war German women's suit and a pristine small boy's wool suit from the 1920's.  A less confined summer is certainly in the cards for all of us.n best-practices suggest a large font size for easy readability both on desktop and mobile devices.
At this point, our annual 2-day Sturbridge Auction remains scheduled for May 12 & 13th during Brimfield Week. We have 100's of unseen boxes from museums that we plan to auction that week.
OUR CURRENT SCHEDULE- On Tuesday afternoon our unique Discovery Sale for costume & textiles from museums and a preview of the Wednesday catalog sale. On Wednesday, our catalog sale is followed by another Discovery Sale with un-reserved bidding well into the evening.
We will continue to monitor this emergency situtation as the spring season progresses. Our goal is to resume public exhibitions of our collections as soon as it is appropriate and prudent.  Should this not be practical before our May Sturbridge sales, we will hold the catalog sale online again and hold off on Discovery until our scheduled the 2-day summer sale at our Vermont studio.
