Jewish Community Day at Nationals Park is BACK! Join Federation and community members from across Jewish Greater Washington at Nationals Park as the Washington Nationals take on the Cincinnati Reds. $5 from every ticket sold will benefit Federation’s work to meet critical needs locally and around the world. "Mr. Popper’s Penguins," based on the beloved children’s book, is a “musical play, featuring expert puppetry, depicts a wild and witty way to follow your dreams — and your convictions.” Connect with PJ Library before the show for a special gift! Community Cares Night with Federation Partner EDCJCC and Housing Up
On Wednesday, June 29th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM, join EDCJCC partner Housing Up to play games, do arts & crafts, and lead programs for children and parents living at a Housing Up apartment complex. Volunteers will work with Housing Up staff to run activities and build relationships with apartment residents.

HIAS Letter Writing Program
Join Federation partner HIAS on Tuesday, July 12th between 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM to write letters of compassion and solidarity to people in immigration detention and participate in a short learning session that reflects on issues facing refugees and asylum seekers. All letters will be sent and received by HIAS. Participants must be 18 or older.
