Practice Management Updates
Patient Portal
Customers utilizing our Patient Portal now have the ability to send statements to a patient's portal account for review. In Patient Accounts, when a statement has been generated there will be an option to upload a copy of the statement to the respective patient's Portal account, as well as an option to remove an uploaded statement. Customers already integrated with an e-statement platform such as BillFlash will not see these changes. For more information please reference the knowledge base article.
Nexio Payments
Customers utilizing our Nexio integration for payments can now request patient payment via SMS text message. The workflow is similar to the existing workflow for sending requests via email.

Also new for customers utilizing our Nexio integration, a new Unpaid Payment Request Report has been added to Patient Accounts for the purposes of tracking payment requests. The functionality for this workflow is similar to the Pre-Payment Report, also in Patient Accounts. This report will be very useful for those who use Nexio for payment requests. The in-app database of ICD-10 diagnosis codes has been updated to reflect changes effective October 1, 2023. These updates include new and/or revised codes, as well as those which have been deprecated.
