The U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation has recently learned of the death of Lt. Col. (Ret.) Charles H. Longnecker, CS-40, Class of 1970. Col. Longnecker passed away on April 9, 2026, in Denver, Colorado.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on April 30, 2026, at the USAFA Cemetery, 3024 Parade Loop, USAF Academy, Colorado.
