Join this annual civic dialogue event to enjoy a meal and discussion with WashU students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Event registration is strongly recommended.

Mudd Field

As part of encouraging Healthy Excellence, a key anchor in our strategic plan, Student Affairs will host Well-being Wednesdays for students each Wednesday, starting Sept. 10 on Mudd Field from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. This series will provide students with learning opportunities about healthy excellence in addition to resources, giveaways and fun!

Encourage your loved ones to join us for Parent & Family Weekend, a celebration filled with events and activities for students and their families. Highlights include faculty guest lectures, campus tours, a football game, excursions to St. Louis attractions, a 5K and more. Registration closes Sept. 5.

As part of Parent & Family Weekend 2025, we are hosting a 5K and fun run, but all students are welcome to register and participate. Students can register online by Sept. 5. Participants will receive a WashU bucket hat. 

You've completed Fall Welcome, but your transition into college academics continues! Our team of WashU Student Associates (WUSAs) are here to help you every step of the way. 

Your WUSAs serve as your academic and personal mentors, introduce you to certain WashU traditions, and help you adjust to the academic culture of your new home during your first year at WashU.

Each week, your WUSAs will spend an hour and a half hosting WUSA Hours in House 5 lower level while answering questions about academic deadlines (e.g., add/drop, course registration, etc.), helping you find involvement opportunities on campus, and making connections with you and your peers. Plan to join us at the next WUSA Hours on Thursday, September 4 from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

We encourage you to attend WUSA Hours and get to know your WUSAs, as they can be a helpful resource for you.

We want to hear what’s important to you. Answer a few questions and you and your res hall floor could win an exclusive hangout at Dr. G’s this semester.

The Learning Center’s drop-in academic mentors and residential peer mentors are available to provide you support in your courses. In September, the Learning Center will offer weekly help sessions for calculus, chemistry, physics, biology, and other foundational courses. Check out the center's mentoring sessions calendar for details.

Academic skills peer coaches are also available to help you improve your study strategies, test-taking, time management, and more. Sign up for a one-on-one meeting with a peer coach.

The transition to university life can be a big change. WashU has several mental health resources, like counseling and wellness workshops, to support you every step of the way. You're never alone on this journey!

Bear Bucks is a cashless account used to make secure on-campus purchases, including on-campus dining locations, campus stores, and more. Additionally, Bear Bucks can be used to conveniently pay for orders from any Grubhub merchant nationwide, via pick-up and delivery through the Grubhub app. 

Add Bear Bucks by signing in to Atrium Connect using your WashU Key. You can also grant a parent, guardian or other person access to your account by following instructions in the Atrium Guest Access Guide.
