DEAN'S ADVISORY BOARD UPDATE
What are the Dean's Advisory Boards?
The Dean's Executive Advisory Boards (EAB) are comprised of UP alums who are leading professionals in Portland, San Francisco, and Seattle. They act in partnership with the Pamplin School of Business to provide a pulse on current business trends and promote our programs throughout the wider region.

Spotlight Board Member - Tim Leehane
San Francisco chapter
Tim currently works at Amazon in Sunnyvale, CA as the Principal Product Manager and was formerly the Vice President of Product Management and Business Intelligence at Eargo, Inc. We are thrilled to have Tim serve on the SF Chapter of the EAB.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the MBA program at University of Portland, and was delighted when Dr. Anderson approached me about joining the Dean’s Advisory Board in the Bay Area. As a member of the board, I’ve been able to help shape the future of the school, network with other UP alumni, and help current and former students connect with businesses in the Bay Area. It is wonderful to be able to give back to the school that gave me so much.

Spotlight Board Member - Outhorn (Uton) Keophila

Seattle chapter
Business Development Leader. Strategy, Partnerships + Growth.
Outhorn Uton is a business development expert having over 12 years of experience leading innovative startups to tech giants with their product design and development projects. He has worked with various businesses such as Aerotek Engineering, CompuCom, Carbon Design Group and Tactile, serving as the Business Development Director.
Outhorn is a Pamplin alum and was an E-Scholar during his time at UP. What inspired Outhorn to join the Seattle EAB?
Living in Seattle for over 12 years, I feel compelled to elevate University of Portland's brand presence in the Greater Seattle Area because there is a talented and influential alumni community in Seattle that is underrepresented. It will take the UP community to share our common bond and show this thriving tech city what we have contributed. We should be proud.
ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT

Ted earned an MBA in Nonprofit Management in 2015. A recipient of the Andy and Nancy Bryant Fellowship, he is committed to using his skills to help nonprofits innovate in a way that maintains a healthy community. Ted is a lifelong Oregonian with a deep love for coffee, beer, and all things operations. He credits his family and his UP cohort with providing an invaluable framework of support to complete his degree while working full time.
