WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH THE SUMMER! |
From May 11th - July 2, 2025 we have had 1,741 campers and over 250 faculty so far for this season. WOW!!!
Keep the camp in your prayers as we focus on all those who will come to the camp in July.

| | Camp is moving so fast. Hanging Rock is really seeing a lot of growth in all of our main camps. We have had more on the wait lists this year than ever before.
We have finished the new Dining Hall Addition, and we have been using it and what a blessing it is. Todd will share how everything is working out and how we could use the help managing two dining halls.
We were able to put $11,000 on our $75,000 loan on the new dining hall. So, our balance is $64,000. I would love to be able to pay this off by the end of the year. If you can help us with this that would be great!
Please remember, that Hanging Rock is much more than a temporary escape—we are catalysts for transformation. Whether through spiritual growth, community building, personal development, or simply the act of unplugging from daily distractions, we see changed lives with every camp session in deeply meaningful ways. Your partnership helps us continue to make a HUGE difference in the lives of young people.

DINING HALL ADDITION UPDATE |
From the Associate Director: |
What a huge blessing the new dining hall extension has been! Thank you so much for the support in helping us get this building built a whole year ahead of schedule. We have definitely broken this building in over the last month or so. Serving thousands of meals to hungry campers, staff, volunteers, and faculty. It has been so amazing to see over 200, sometimes over 250 people eating all at the same time! That's what this building offers, as well as so much more. It is a space to provide quality dining for campers, so they don't have to worry about where their next meal may come from. It allows them to focus on worship, small group time, and all the fun activities, not worrying about food.
It offers a place for small groups to meet for discussion time. It offers a shelter from the rain during canteen time. It offers a cozy environment with the fireplace going. It offers a rescue from the heat. This building has already played a huge role in helping those coming to camp to strengthen and establish their relationship with Jesus! That may sound weird to say that, but it is true. Everything we have here is a tool to help teach about Christ. This building provides those teaching opportunities like I mentioned above, through all this building offers.
It hasn't been easy, by any stretch of the imagination. We have faced some challenges with it. Nothing major, just working out the small issues we didn't think of. Like not having a trash can at the serving line to throw away hot dog bun packaging, or used gloves, or dropped food. Things like not having extra serving utensils, because we are so used to them just hanging up in the kitchen, close by. All these things, and more we are working through. Some things we realized we still need in the space: a commercial sized single door refrigerator to store salad bar supplies, and extra condiments. More trays to serve food on. More cups to serve drinks in. Plastic cereal storage containers. A small 2 feet by 2 feet table that is about 3 feet tall. If you would like to donate towards those items you may do so through the website on the donation tab. Just be sure to mark equipment for dining hall in the memo. Or, you can send a check to the camp office with the same memo. Thank you again for your support in making this dream a reality! The Lord is moving here and I am excited to see it firsthand through the ministry of food service!
