Adobe licensing changes coming August 6; World Cinema begins production on new film

Good morning! Starting next week, Clemson will change how Adobe Creative Cloud licenses are managed. A section of Highway 93 is closed from today through Wednesday; The World Cinema Program has begun production on its second feature film.

What to know today:

Beginning Thursday, August 6, faculty, staff and students who need access to Adobe Creative Cloud software must opt in to activate their license. All faculty, staff and students will maintain access to Adobe Acrobat, Express, Firefly, Fonts and Stock.

A section of Highway 93 between the entrance to Mell Hall and Sherman Street is closed through Wednesday (weather permitting) due to the Downtown Streetscape Project.

The World Cinema Program has begun production on its second feature film, titled "The High Note," building on the success of last year's production of “Student Film: The Movie."

Clemson recently hosted an inaugural five-day workshop with emerging wildlife researchers from across the globe at the Baruch Institute in Georgetown, S.C.

Ready, Set, Roar!, Clemson's two-day Orientation experience, hosts its final sessions on main campus this week.

Clemson is hosting a 4-H in the Forest series from now through December, featuring monthly Saturday morning programs that combine outdoor exploration with science-based learning. Designed for youth of all ages and their families, each session is led by Clemson Extension specialists and natural resources professionals. Registration is required and space is limited.
