Walsh University welcomes our campus students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and would like to ensure that Cav Nation is mindful of the ways these students experience social relationships and interactions differently than our peers. To that end, we are excited to launch a university-wide autism awareness campaign over this academic year. Short videos with student interviews will be posted on our YouTube channel each month with links included in the Wire.
Additionally, Walsh OT students will conduct monthly social skills training opportunities for our students with autism. If you know of a student who could benefit from this training, please connect them to Meredith Soduk.
