Welcome Week

8:30 am, The Hub (Academic Quad) - Convocation ceremony. Commuters will meet at 8:30am at the Armstrong Student Center Shade Family Room (front entrance) to walk over together. Please bring a bottle of water with you, as the weather may be warm.
10:15 am, Students will begin sessions according to their division of major. Some FSB students will begin with a discussion group, but all others will go to a divisional welcome session
11:25 am, Discussion groups at the designated sites throughout campus (those FSB students who had the discussion group first will have their divisional welcome). Check email for your location.
4:15 pm, It IS My Place, Millett Hall. All new students are expected to attend this important program, where you'll learn about expectations for your new community and key campus resources. Bring your Miami ID to swipe in. Commuters meet at the east central entrance of Millett Hall at 4:15pm (entrance closest to the large parking lot a commuter student leader will meet you there).
