Rosendale 4-H Club Kicks Off the New 4-H Year 

The Rosendale 4-H Club kicked off their 2024-2025 4-H year with the election of officers. The officers are:
  • President: Abby Derksen
  • VP: Eve Clark
  • Secretary: Abby Derksen
  • Treasurer: Mac Gillett 
  • Reporter: Eli Curtis
  • S. of Arms: Levi Clark
We also planned out our National 4-H Week Service project. We will be putting together birthday boxes with cake mix, frosting, sprinkles, and candles to donate to the Brandon Food Pantry.
We ended our meeting with mini golf at the Fondy Sports Park. Members that mini golfed, included: (Left to Right): Sadie F, Abby D, Allison V O, Emer C, Mac G.

Brandon Tanagers 4-H Holds Elections

The Brandon Tanagers recently held elections on September 9th. The club is excited to welcome the officers to their positions this year. Congratulations to all of them!
 
4-H promotion week is coming up October 6th – 12th. Brandon Tanagers 4-H Club members will wear their Brandon Tanagers 4-H Club or Alto Fair T-shirts this week. If anyone has questions about joining 4-H, look for those wearing 4-H shirts and talk to them for more information, or come to our next club meeting on October 14. Feel free to email us at brandontanager@gmail.com for more information about joining.

Join Teen Leaders Association!

Teens - Join TLA Today TLA is looking to start planning for the new 4-H year of activities, so come join them. Any 4-H member who has completed 6th grade or above is eligible to participate in TLA events. The group has a formal meeting once a month, complete service projects, and host recreation activities. The next meeting is Monday, Sept 23, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Rolling Meadows meeting room. Meetings are typically finished by 8:45 pm.  During the school year TLA meetings will start with a meal before the meeting to accomodate busy teen schedules!

2024 4-H Fall Kick-Off
When: Wednesday, October 2, 6-8 pm
Where: Fond du Lac County Campus (FCC - formally the UW Oshkosh FDL Campus)

Who should attend:
 New members, general club leaders, and youth leaders
What to Bring:
 Bring your ideas, pencils/pens, paper for notes.
Dress in your 4-H apparel, or dress up to show your Hawaiian Luau spirit

Clubs will get a chance to plan out the year, get new ideas, share with other clubs, collaborate, play fun games and activities, and win some prizes! The club with the most participants in attendance will win a prize. Refreshments to match our kick-off theme will be served.

Project Leader Training
We invite anyone interested in becoming a project leader and current protect leaders, both youth and adults, to the 4-H Project Leader Training. This training will include hands-on activities and resources available for project leaders. Youth and adult volunteers in Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties are welcome to attend. 
Please indicate below which date you will be joining us:
Thursday, September 26, 2024. 6-8 pm Washington County 
Tuesday, November 12, 2024.  6-8 pm Ozaukee County
Saturday, February 22, 2025. 1-3 pm Fond du Lac County

4-H Re-enrollment is OPEN!
We would love to see you participate in the Fond du Lac County 4-H program. The Fond du Lac county deadline for returning members is Thursday, October 31 at 11:59 pm. We highly encourage youth to enroll as soon as possible to ensure they don't miss out on any opportunities.
