Mingling of the Waters Celebration Parade
Sunday, September 13th; 4:00-4:30 pm

Every year at the end of summer, we come together for a homecoming celebration that we often call Mingling of the Waters. We are invited to bring a small amount of water from our summer activities, which might be from a local swimming area, our travels, or from our kitchen faucet. A small portion of this mingled water is added to our pond, and the rest is sanitized and used in blessing ceremonies for our faith community, including baby dedications.

This year we will still have a chance to mingle our waters, but in a safe and physically distant way. We hope you join us for this ritual!

• Check out the map HERE for the parade route. You will be required to follow the route, to keep everyone safe.
• Decorate your car or bring a sign celebrating the Fellowship community if you would like!
• Staff, including our Intern Minister Ali Peters, and Board Members will be stationed along the route to wave and say hello to from your car.
• You will be able to add your water without touching anything or coming into contact with anyone who is not masked.
• There will be a couple of quick activities along the route, but you won’t have to leave your car for them.
• From 4:00 – 4:15, we will record, take photos, and Facebook live the parade. If you do not want to be recorded, come after 4:15.
• There will be a jar for people to drop off their water outside the Fellowship entrance in the week before the parade if you aren’t able to come during the parade.
