Good Afternoon Finance & Administration Staff,
Within the University’s strategic plan, a key objective of ‘Reimagining the Way We Work’ includes Growing and Recognizing Our People … specifically, fostering a culture of innovation and performance excellence, expanding professional development opportunities, and creating capacity for our staff and faculty to thrive.
Finance & Administration has been approved for a fiscal amount of state dollars specifically designated for professional growth opportunities within VP15 areas. I would encourage everyone to apply for these funds, regardless of your role. If there is a conference you would like to attend, a training course, a certification, a class, etc. these dollars can be used to support your professional development.
