Greetings Northern District,
I want to thank our Northern District communities for a successful National Night Out this past August 3rd at the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center. The goal of National Night Out is to enhance the relationship between the community and law enforcement and I believe we definitely accomplished that. Special thanks to Mayor London Breed for taking time to meet and mingle with community members and Northern Station Officers. Thank you to all our City agencies, especially Captain Chris Benz at Fire Station 5, Undersheriff Joe Engler of the Sherriff's Department, and to the Northern Station C.P.A.B. for cooking and providing food to all attendees. Thank you to all the vendors for passing out information pamphlets and refreshments and to SF SAFE for providing over 90 backpacks for our local kids for their upcoming school year. Finally, thank you to Ella Hill Hutch Community Center for allowing us to host National Night Out.
