Grand Opening of IVC's New Arts Village

On April 3, we held the official grand opening for our new $61 million Arts Village, which is the new home to dance, music, visual arts, and fine arts. Guests had a chance to tour the sprawling 62,471 square-foot complex, where they saw live art demonstrations as well as performances by music and dance. Watch Video »

Men's Volleyball Team is Seeded Sixth in Upcoming Playoffs
The Irvine Valley men's volleyball team has been seeded sixth in the upcoming 3C2A State Championship postseason. The Lasers, who finished with a record of 11-7 overall and 5-3 in the Orange Empire Conference, will play a first-round regional match at No. 3 San Diego Mesa on Friday at 6 pm. Read More »

DEIA Day Features Discussions on Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) Students

The President’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (PAC-DEIA) hosted DEIA Day on April 12. The half-day event included a student panel, a presentation on Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) students at IVC, and a discussion on how "Servingness" can impact SWANA students’ education, led by Dr. Zack Ritter and Marium Mohiuddina. Black Student Success Scholars Tour Seven HBCUs
IVC's Black Student Success Scholars (BSSS) program toured seven Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in March. Counselor Heather Johnson and Senior Administrative Assistant Beverly Hill accompanied eight IVC students on the six-day tour. The group visited Howard University, Hampton University, Bowie State, Norfolk State University, Delaware State University, Cheyney University, and Morgan State University.
