FAQ/TUTORIAL |
Q: What will Apple TV+ be airing during this year's Major League Baseball season?
A. For the third year in a row, Apple TV+ is airing an exclusive pair of Major League Baseball games every Friday night of the regular season. These games, which run through June, will be free of any local blackout restrictions and available for viewing in 60 countries and regions. Although the Friday night games aren't exactly doubleheaders — as some weeks will feature overlapping games and others will include two games starting at the same time — Apple TV+ is providing an opportunity for fans around the world to catch a pair of contests between some of the best teams in baseball. Every weeknight of the season, Apple TV+ will also offer its whip-around show MLB Big Inning. Q: I hear that Vidgo has been down for several months. What's going on with it? A. The live TV streaming service Vidgo has been down since late 2023 and is no longer accepting new subscribers. In February 2024, it suspended its TV Everywhere login credentials that had previously let customers log on to various network apps like ESPN or FS1 to access their feeds. (Prior to the outage, Vidgo cost $69.99 a month and let subscribers stream a bundle of 110+ live channels plus on-demand content.) The fate of Vidgo remains a mystery. The company has stopped billing customers. It's offering them a $10 monthly credit for the next six months, and is crediting their accounts for the number of days the service has been impacted. Alternatively, customers can cancel their service. |

What Causes Buffering While Streaming?
Essentially, buffering is caused by a slow or overloaded internet connection. If your home broadband or Wi-Fi network isn't quite up to snuff, video data can't load quickly enough while you watch, so your stream pauses to play catch-up. That's when you see the "spinny circle of doom" on the screen. If buffering is a frequent issue in your home, contact us to discuss an internet upgrade. |
