New Requirement for Honors and Awards Nominations
If you are planning to submit an Honors and Awards nomination, take note of an additional requirement this year. Nominators are now required to provide a statement on their candidate’s impact on the profession and suitability for an award. Please keep this in mind and allow enough time to submit the nomination and statement by the deadline. Nominations will be accepted until Sept. 15.

NATA Project Aims to Demonstrate AT Value
With a greater emphasis placed in recent years on evidence-based medicine and value-based services at reasonable costs, NATA has launched a project to illustrate the value of employing athletic trainers as rehabilitation specialists in the clinical and hospital settings, particularly among the Medicare patient population. The initiative is called the Accountable Care Organization (ACO)/Management Services Organization (MSO) Demonstration Project.
