The FWB Youth Movement
In addition to church camps getting underway this summer, there are many other Free Will Baptist youth programs that are taking place.
Sixty-eight young adults are going out with IM as part of the College Missions Program. Training has begun for ETEAM at Welch College to prepare 98 high school students for ministry all over the world over the next few weeks.
In early July, 140 Truth & Peace students will begin training at Randall University to serve at the Vertical Three Conference.
July 19-22 in Kansas City, hundreds of young people will be participating in the Vertical Three Conference, with many utilizing their God-given talents in the CTS Ministry Expo.
These programs work. See this ONE Magazine article on the effectiveness of these programs in keeping our youth involved in church and the denomination.
Pray for the participants, staff, and parents involved in these vital programs this summer. If you know of a student who might benefit from one of these programs, encourage them to apply to partipate next year. You can find the information on each program at the links above. Many of the applications open in late July and are due by the end of October. May God continue to move in our youth!
