Don't miss the bus

It's been three long years since we last traveled with you. The wait is over, and we're brimming with excitement to see you back on the bus. We've packed a lot into our tour of this little slice of The Hoosier State. Grab a friend, or come alone and meet a few new ones. Either way, we've planned a day you won't want to miss. See page 7 of the catalog for further details. UPDATE: Due to popular demand, we've added a West Chester bus pickup location.

Get ready for your ILR semester's virtual classes by signing up for a free ILR Webex introduction class. You'll soon realize how fun and convenient learning from the comfort of your home can be.

Pour a cup of something soothing, settle in, and get ready to learn what you've been missing. Sign up for your Webex intro training session. We'll have you confident and ready to go in an hour or less. Please note: The registration for this training is separate from your course registration. Dig out those lanyards
For those attending in-person classes, the search is on! The great lanyard hunt of 2022 begins. You certainly know exactly where to find it. Right? If the junk drawer and every other "secure" place fail to reveal yours, feel free to email ILR for a replacement.
Remember, tied finger
Remember to register for your parking pass
All classes held on the Oxford campus require a vehicle parking pass. The visitor pass is now electronic—no paper pass is required. Parking is permitted in the lots circled in blue on the map that displays after you complete the pass registration. If you missed the map, simply submit your request again. If you haven't yet requested your pass, you must have it in place before your first Oxford campus class. If you need the pass request link, please email the ILR office. Lastly, if you have a handicap placard, after registering for your parking pass, you must send a copy of your placard to parking@MiamiOH.edu.

Harness all that knowledge you've acquired throughout your career, travels, hobbies, and lifetime, and turn those experiences into a fascinating course for ILR. Current, past, and new instructors can now teach for ILR from anywhere in the world. Virtual, hybrid, and in-person courses are being gathered for next spring, March 27 through April 28, 2023.
Although what's pictured isn't quite the proposal we had in mind, we'll look forward to your course proposal just as much. We will be accepting course proposalsdiamonds optional—until November 21. Everyone has a passion, hobby, profession, or skill worth sharing. Submit your ILR spring 2023 course proposal. Chances are, the answer will be yes!
Celebrating 25 years of ILR
Our fall semester continues the year-long commemoration of our 25th anniversary. We invite you to join us this semester as we celebrate a quarter-century of Engaging, Enriching, and Enlightening our community.
We proudly introduce our 25th-anniversary fall semester sponsor, Berkeley Square. Along with their generous support this semester, they will be hosting our Kickoff Party on September 30 and a Frocklicking Not-So-Far Afield (FNSFA) tour of their beautiful campus on November 11. See catalog pages 7 and 8 for complete details.
