Coalition Comments on Proposed CMS Rule |
The Coalition submitted formal comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regarding their proposed rule on payments for end-stage renal disease (ESRD) care (CMS-1846-P). In the proposed rule, CMS acknowledges palliative dialysis and notes that seriously ill patients deserve tailored, goal-concordant options. The Coalition's comments focused on how to address payment and measurement barriers to ensure adoption of these important aspects of kidney supportive care.

Executive Committee Updates |
We'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nancy Armistead, who will be stepping back from her role on the Executive Committee. As a founding member of the Coalition, Nancy has been an extraordinary advocate for kidney supportive care for decades. We would not be here without Nancy's efforts.
We'd also like to welcome Fahad Saeed, MBBS and Kate Sciacca, AGACNP-BC to the Executive Committee!
