Addiction Recovery Support Group, group of folks with their arms linked together
Addiction Recovery Support Group
First meeting Sunday, April 19, 12:30 pm
Addiction can affect anyone -- You
are not alone!
We are starting a group for folks within our Fellowship community who are in recovery or would like to start the recovery process from any kind of addiction. This group is not counseling, nor is it a 12-step program. It will simply be a judgment-free space for collective support and education about addiction recovery.

You Are Not Alone (2nd edition) Dinner & Event
Wednesday, April 29, 6:00-8:00 pm
Join members of the Care Team for a dinner and event to provide space for all the challenges in our lives: illness, grief, caregiving, stress, addiction, mental health challenges, political anxiety and strife, and more. There will be some centering time, a chance for sharing and listening, and some skill-building. Participants who attended our January event reported feeling significantly calmer, more hopeful, and more empowered at the end of the session. You are not alone!
Please email christina@fvuuf.org to RSVP so we can plan for the dinner, by Monday, April 27.

Essentials Food and Shelter For All
Help Us Feed Our Community
Here is something that you can do to help others during these trying times. Essentials JAM will be in the entry lobby handing out E2F (Empty to Full) pans on Sunday, April 19 after both services. Each pan includes a recipe and shopping list. All you need to do is combine the ingredients, put them in the pan, and freeze it unbaked. Then bring the pan(s) back to the Fellowship two weeks later on Sunday, May 3. The frozen pans will be taken to Pillars Adult and Family Shelter to be used for their evening meals. How easy is that for spreading love and kindness?

"Breaking the ICE" Forum

Peter Mayer Coming to Green Bay Area UU Fellowship
Peter Mayer, acclaimed singer and songwriter, will be coming to the Green Bay Fellowship on Friday, April 17th. Along with Carrie Arnold, another GBAUUF favorite, he will facilitate a retreat entitled “Embracing Possibility” from 1–4 pm featuring reflection, live music, and small group sharing. In the evening, from 7:00–8:30 pm, Peter will present a concert. Both events are free. A free-will offering will be gratefully accepted at the door, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Green Bay Fellowship.
Register for either or both events by emailing Carrie Arnold at shewhob@gmail.com or by texting her at 920– 217–0882. Space is limited so registration will be on a first come first served basis.
Hug Me! or Don't Touch Me! Stickers Now Available
Each person has their own preferences about touch-- some people love to be patted on the back or given a hug, others really don't want to be touched without consent. Many of us are somewhere in the middle. If you want to make your preference known, stop by the Welcome Table in the entry lobby to add a sticker to your nametag — the green ones say "hug me" and the red ones say "please don't touch." As always, please respect other people's boundaries of body, and spirit.
