Gig tonight in Tupelo, Mississippi
Only a few of you who receive this email are within driving distance, but hey: one never knows. It's a fun, impromptu all-star jam--a song swap, really--featuring Doug MacLeod (acoustic gtr, vcls), Brian Ballou (elec. gtr, vcls), my pals Shy and Billy Perry (keys & vcls), and yours truly (hca, vcls).
The event takes place at the Link Centre in downtown Tupelo. Doors open at 7; show at 7:30. Two sets.

Gigs
Because of the imminent publication of my new book, I've got a range of things happening over the next few months, including book events, band gigs, podcasts, and publications. Here's a comprehensive list.
Please note that on April 10, as part of a weekend-warrior tour with Sir Rod & the Blues Doctors, we will be doing a combined book-and-music event in Atlanta at a space called BeOnEdgewood. It's our first ATL performance since coming together as a trio four years ago. Rod has an established following in the city, so this should be fun!
In mid-May, I will be making a book tour up the East Coast. I'll be following up the leads that many of you tossed me a month ago. Thanks again for that!
Here's the gig list.
2/15/25: Tupelo, MS - Link Centre presents Blues Cafe (AG with Doug MacLeod, Brian Ballou, Shy & Bill Perry, 7:30 PM)
2/26/25: Oxford, MS - Off Square Books (reading/signing for My Family and I, 5:30 - 6:30 PM; signed books available for mail-order) (Note: C-SPAN has expressed a strong interest in covering this event.)
3/1/25: Jackson, MS - Lemuria Books (reading/signing for My Family and I, 2 PM)
3/27/25: ONLINE - Clemson, SC - Clemson University Emeritus College (Zoom presentation/Q&A about My Family and I)
4/13/25: Freshfields Village (Kiawah Island), SC - Blues By the Sea (SRBD, 3-4 PM)
