Something very exciting is happening here at Hanging Rock and it involves all of you. Yes! All of you! We will need everyone involved in this very important gift that the Lord has laid upon us. We have been given a $1-million-dollar match! WHAT!!!! Yes, that is right!!! A MILLION DOLLAR MATCH! The biggest match Hanging Rock had, had to date in my 18 years was a $25,000 match. We have already matched the kitchen. So, we are at $962,950 left to match. Every month we will highlight the project we are wanting to match until we reach completion.

What are we doing with this million-dollar match? I am glad you asked: I will list what we are going to do in order of priority. So, after we get one thing matched, we will move onto the next. If giving is going so well that we get multiple things matched at once we can make even faster progress for the camp. Praise the Lord!

1. Kitchen - $75,000 - Need to raise $37,500. - Finished. We have matched these funds.

2. New bunkbeds for the retreat center and the bunkhouse. - $70,000- Need to raise $35,000.

3. Existing Building Upgrades - $200,000. - Need to raise $100,000. What does this include?

- Re-wiring electric in some of our oldest buildings. HUGE Priority!

- Plumbing upgrades

- Flooring upgrades

4. Pool & Bathhouse Renovation - $305,000 - Need to raise $152,500 What does this include?

- New Slide!!!

- Expanding the bathhouse

- Expanding pool deck

- New filter system

- New liner for dive pool

5. 3 New Cabins - $400,000 - Need to raise $200,000. This will add an additional 54 beds. It will match the current Cabin that is being built.

6. Remodeling current office into first aid station/building a new office building-$750,000- Need to match $375,000

7. Land Acquisition - $200,000 - Need to raise $100,000 - This will help us purchase the land that our wells are on across the highway.

So, here we go. We need your help. We need your family, we need your friends. This is the BIGGEST match Hanging Rock has had. What a blessing this is. But, we need your help.

Please be in prayer and pass the word along to your friends and families that we need your help! Pray and ask God how he can use you and your resources that he has blessed you with to help us achieve this God sized Goal.

We hope this will be finished this month so we can be use it for camp this summer. We are so close to finishing this project.

A Big Thank You goes to Wheeler Mission for providing $60,000 for this project and also the Lilly Endowment Foundation for providing the other $60,000.

Fourth Street Construction did a great job building this cabin.

We hope to be building bunkbeds on workday and getting this cabin in use for God's Glory.

The kitchen remodel is coming right along! Everything has been gutted; wall has been built and painting has been done. New drywall ceiling, HVAC and flooring are finished. Lighting and wall finishes are to be completed next week.

We are excited to announce that we have hired Patrick Coy as our new Lead Maintenance person. Patrick is to ensure that all buildings & grounds are maintained at a high level.

Patrick comes to us from Colfax. Attends the Colfax Christian Church and is involved in the youth as a youth sponsor. His last employment was at ZIONSVILLE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS-Zionsville, IN as a HVAC Controls Technician.

To replace the bunkbeds in the bunkhouse and retreat center will cost $70,000. - We have a match, so we only need to raise $35,000. We need 108 new bunkbeds to replace everything in the retreat center and bunkhouse.

If you would like to help us by buying a bed or making a donation that would be great. 1 bunkbed is $325- When making a donation please add a note that this goes toward bunkbeds.

Summer camp starts NEXT MONTH! We are so excited to witness the great works that God will be doing during camp this year.

We are coming up on our deadline for the Early Bird Registration pricing for camps. The deadline is May 31st. After May 31, the prices will increase. We are filling up some camps!
