Due to the anticipated impacts of winter weather this weekend, Clemson University’s main campus and other University locations impacted by winter weather will conduct e-learning activities on Monday, Jan. 26. Monitor your Clemson email and official University social channels for updated information throughout the weekend.

Clemson Athletics has announced the Jervey Meadows Concert Series, designed to give a preview of Death Valley Nights alongside the weekend’s athletic events. The inaugural show will be headlined by Jake Owen, Congress the Band and Jet Jurgensmeyer on April 11, 2026.
Shyamalika Gopalan, an assistant professor in the Institute for Human Genetics and the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry, is researching the accuracy of molecular "age clocks" that tell how fast people are aging — finding that genetic variation may account for significant disparities.

This week's Fiercely Forward Friday features Joe and Cathy Turner, whose decades-long commitment to Clemson reflects a powerful combination of service, leadership and philanthropy. The Office of Compliance and Ethics will host several events for Data Privacy Week next week. “Data Privacy is a Team Sport” on January 27 will bring together privacy partners across campus to discuss data management decisions in your work. On January 28, Chief Privacy Officer Theo Wills will host and discuss a screening of the documentary “Privacy People."
