π¦ The URock Student Association is excited to provide one currently enrolled UMA Rockland student with all the essentials for a turkey dinner, perfectly timed for Thanksgiving! The winner will be selected through a random drawing on Monday, Nov 25th and they can pick up their dinner items by Tuesday, Nov 26th.Β

| Course of the Week - PSY 400
|
β¨ This week's featured in-person/hyflex course for the spring semester is PSY 400 Abnormal Psychology.Β Taught by UMA instructor John Shattuck, the class covers the history, scope and classification of mental illness and the effectiveness of treatment methods.Β Topics include schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, behavioral disorders, social deviance and anxiety-related disorders.Β To enroll, students must have completed PSY 100.
PSY 400 (44007) will meet Wednesdays 6-7:20pm, with remaining class work completed online.

| Free Science Classes Offered!
|
π¬ RSU 13 Adult & Community Education is providing two completely online remote science courses designed for students interested in pursuing health science programs. There are no required textbooks or materials.
β’ Chemistry with Lab from January 6th to March 9th
β’ Biology with Lab from February 24th to April 18th
This is a fantastic opportunity for all students preparing for admissions review in competitive fields to fulfill the necessary prerequisites. These courses are available at no charge to students, funded by the Maine College and Career Access Services grant and RSU 13 Adult & Community Education.
