2022 Governor's Conference Survey Reminder

Share your opinion on how Travel Oregon can best organize future Governor’s Conferences by completing our 2022 attendee survey.  Surveys are due by 11:45 p.m. Friday, April 15.

    15th Annual Interagency Frontliners Conference, April 19

    The 15th Annual Interagency Frontliners Conference on Tuesday, April 19, 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. Join us for the half-day virtual conference for training, recognition and networking opportunities for Oregon’s visitor services frontline staff. Hear key updates from Oregon Department of Forestry, Oregon Parks & Recreation Department, Bureau of Land Management, Travel Southern Oregon and Travel Oregon to prepare for summer 2022. There will be interactive networking to create connections among frontliner colleagues as well as educational resources about leveraging self-compassion to support one’s self and others, and improve mindset and productivity.

      ATTA Adventure Elevate Conference Coming to Eugene, May 3-5

      Adventure Travel Trade Association’s annual North America-based, three-day intensive educational and networking conference Adventure Elevate will take place in Eugene May 3-5. Through thought-leading educational sessions and creative networking opportunities, Adventure Elevate will be a platform for the adventure travel community to promote tourism work together, illuminating and reflecting a path forward for the travel industry.         Conversations with Funders

        Grant makers offering more than $5 million in funding for FY2023 will gather virtually for four regional 2022 “Conversations with Funders and Partners” events:
        • Portland Region/Willamette Valley, April 14
        • Central/Eastern Oregon, April 19
        • Oregon Coast, April 21
        The free online interactive events will enable grant seekers to learn about funding programs available and will include breakout rooms where they can discuss their projects and programming with specific funders.

          National Scenic Byways Program Funding Opportunity

          The Federal Highways Administration (FHWA) issued a funding opportunity for the National Scenic Byways Program. This program funds improvements, such as byway facilities, safety improvements, and interpretive information, along roads that merit recognition at the national level for their outstanding scenic, historic, cultural, natural recreational and archeological qualities. Applications are due on May 16.
