Wishing you a beautiful holiday season and a new year
full of peace
, good health, and abundant joy.
Reflecting on 2022, whether you were a presenter, volunteer, donor, member, or friend of ILR, we're deeply grateful for your support and contribution to our continued success.
We look forward to seeing you in 2023!

Year-end giving

Recognizing and celebrating our 25th anniversary has made this past year one to remember. We’re uplifted and inspired by the ways our lifelong learning community continues to respond to challenges with resilience, determination, and innovation. By sharing our strengths and working together, we can look forward to providing an even greater impact in 2023 and beyond.
As you're contemplating ways to make a significant impact with your end-of-year donations, we would be honored to have you consider supporting ILR. Every dollar donated stays within the ILR program, enabling us to fulfill and further our mission throughout our ever-expanding community of lifelong learners.
Closed for the holidays

A short winter's nap

The ILR office will be closed until January 6th. After a bit of rest and rejuvenation (and far too many holiday goodies), we look forward to having you join us as we prepare for our spring semester, March 27 through April 28.

Until then, happiest of holidays to all, and to all a good night!

Road Scholar Learning Adventure for members and friends of ILR
Program # 21758 – Signature City Asheville
Sunday, August 20 to Friday, August 25, 2023

While the weather outside is frightful, dreaming of summer travels sounds delightful. Make plans to join your ILR friends and head for the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina to discover the Art Deco architecture, thriving arts scene, and unique history that makes Asheville a signature American city. Hear expert analysis of the Vanderbilt family’s influence on the city, and learn why the preservation of the downtown makes it a living museum of mid-century architecture. Join experts on explorations of Asheville’s most significant sites and historic properties like the lavish Biltmore Estate, and enjoy the artistic and culinary delights of Asheville’s thriving downtown. (Please note: Road Scholar offices will be closed for the holidays and reopen on January 3.) Learn more.
