| 2021 Family Learning Day Evaluation Thank you for participating in the 2021 Family Learning Day. Typically when Family Learning Day is held, there is a short evaluation that is handed out after each session. These evaluations help the committee plan for the next year. They also help the session presenters know what they did well and what they could work on. It also allows the youth to voice ideas for next year and reflects on the learning opportunity they had. SAVE THE DATE- Clothing RevueThe Clothing Revue committee has decided to move forward with planning and would like to announce a date. The Clothing Revue will be held virtually via Zoom on Monday, June 14, 2021 begining at 6 pm. It will run similarly to last year. The youth will model and have the narrative read and will go to a breakout room with the judge to receive feedback. There will be fashion fun facts shared between participants, while the judge meets with the youth. Registration will be open May 1 through 4HOnline. Participants will submit photos and narratives for their items via a Google form by Saturday, June 12.

Teen Leaders Association During our March TLA Meeting, the group decided to go to Lakeside Park in April for fun and community service, then A& W Restaurant afterward. There is a doodle poll, so you can mark the days and times that work best for you. Please complete the poll by April 5! Tina will send an email out with the results. If you have any questions, please let me know.

The next TLA meeting is Monday, April 26 at 7:00 pm at Rolling Meadows Meeting Room. The meeting will be in-person and virtual via Zoom. If you are interested in being part of this group, please contact Tina Engelhardt at tina.engelhardt@wisc.edu.

Outagamie County Hosts Dairy Clinic May 1Outagamie County will be hosting a dairy clinic on May 1 at the Seymour Fairgrounds, 9 am -3 pm.
Katie Coyne will lead the demonstrations. Youth may bring their project calf to work on, or they may share a calf with a fellow county project member. (Youth who wish to share a calf must plan arrangements prior to the clinic.)
Click here for the registration form, which is included on the flyer - 25 youth minimum, 40 youth maximum first come, first served. Pandemic guidelines will be followed. Attendees should mail the registration form along with payment to the Outagamie County Extension Office by April 19. The clinic fee is $15 per youth. Lunch is available for $6 per person.
After April 19, we will communicate with the registrants via email with a confirmation of the event. If we do not meet our minimum youth attendance, all payments will be refunded.

Market Livestock Project
April 8 - Use of Technology in Animal & Dairy Sciences starts at 7 p.m. via Zoom technology. You must pre-register at https://go.wisc.edu/r3x8lh. If you like animals and computers, this is a must-see.

Silent Auction and RaffleThe Silent Auction is in the planning stages. The auctions have generated thousands of dollars for the Fond du Lac County 4-H Endowment Fund. In turn, the interest from the Endowment Fund supports the activities of 4-H members. Each club is asked to donate an item to the silent auction, to volunteer to help man the area, and to secure donations from three businesses in your area. Let Cindy Koffman know ahead of time how your club will be involved, so space for auction items and volunteer time slots may be allocated. Call Cindy at 477-5006.
Adult Leaders Raffle - At the March Adult Leaders meeting, there was a discussion on holding the Adult Leaders raffle fundraiser. It was decided to move forward with the raffle. Lorna Bock has agreed to chair the raffle committee again. Lorna is looking for help with securing donations for the raffle. If you have donations, please contact Lorna, so she can include information on the printed tickets. Once the tickets are printed, clubs will be notified, so they can be distributed. More information on when tickets will be due back to the office will be sent out later, as the tickets may be sold a little bit longer this year. We are asking that each club find one raffle prize per club. This prize needs to be something like a certificate that can be mailed out to the winner. We would greatly appreciate this help. In the past, only a few people have assisted in the gathering of prizes. Volunteers in Preparation (VIP) TrainingNew Adult Volunteers are welcome and essential to the 4-H program! 4-H is proud of being a proactive, youth-serving organization with an excellent reputation for providing a healthy and safe environment for its members. The volunteer orientation process assures the quality of the program.
For any adults in need of a Volunteer In Prep Training (VIP), there are several upcoming virtual training options to fit your schedule! THE next VIP will be Tuesday, April 27 from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Conversation Corner - Thurs, April 22, 7-8 pm
Join us each month for a different Conversation Corner topic! 4-H Educators Tracy, Jayna, and Amy invite all 4-H club and project leaders from Fond du Lac, Ozaukee, and Washington Counties to join them for these one-hour (optional) Zooms. These conversations are an opportunity for leaders to ask the educators questions, brainstorm with other leaders, and share ideas!
