International Day of Prayer

The International Fellowship of Free Will Baptist Churches (IFOFWBC) is calling upon Free Will Baptists around the world to pray this Sunday, March 21, for those impacted by COVID-19, the economic and emotional impact. Pray for authorities as they continue to make decisions about the illness, and pray for our churches as they attempt to minister to others at this time.

Pastors Wanted

The NAFWB has been focusing this month on the Pastoral Crisis with many Free Will Baptist churches that need pastors. For more, read "The Pastoral Crisis & Greener Grass." This week we focused on potential solutions by examining bi-vocational ministry.

Monday’s Better Together Podcast featured Kris and Tana Willis, who asked God to show them where the need was, and they are following His call to Anchorage, Alaska. This week's blog, “Are You Called to Bi-Vocational Ministry?” examines the opportunity laymen have to help fill pastoral roles in our churches. 2021 National Convention

The National Convention will be held July 18-21 in at the newly-renovated Renasant Convention Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

Disaster Response Opportunity

Master's Men is hosting Disaster Response Training March 29-April 1 and Cumberland Camp in Woodlawn, TN. Cost is $100 person. Contact Ken Akers if you are interested in attending.

Callaway to Retire, Johnson Tapped to Lead Program

Dr. Ronald Callaway, longstanding Program Coordinator of Intercultural Studies at Welch College, will retire at the end of the spring semester, according to Provost Dr. Matthew McAffee. Callaway has served as Program Coordinator of Intercultural Studies for eighteen years, assuming the position in the fall of 2003.

Tim and Kristi Johnson will serve as Missionaries-in-Residence at Welch College beginning in August. Tim will then transition into a full-time position with Welch College in August of 2022 as a faculty member and Program Coordinator of Intercultural Studies.
