The reviews are in . . . and the cast list is out!
"There are many strong elements in this production, but none of them would matter if Kory Weimer failed to convince in the role of Jesus. Weimer’s Jesus has no awareness of his own divinity and therefore works through the psychological stress of walking into a painful death for a group of followers who don’t appear particularly intelligent or grateful. He is adept at showing flashes of the charisma Jesus must have had, even as his character wrestles with the task set before him. It’s a very strong performance."  Eugene Weekly

Jesus Christ Superstar continues for three more weekends
Opening weekend was very exciting — and our cast and crew are looking forward to twelve more chances to share Jesus Christ Superstar with you over the next three weekends. Join us for this soul-stirring rock musical about the final week in the life of Christ. With a cast of 40, a steel set that spans from floor to ceiling, an on-stage rock band, a powerful story, and music that never stops, this is a stage spectacle not to be missed!
"The complex play and complex shifts were brought off without a hitch. A moveable, second-level set, 22 feet above the stage floor, enabled the many swift scenic changes and locations." Eugene Register-Guard

Announcing our newest cast
Wow! We were thrilled to have almost 60 people show up for our auditions for The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe this past weekend. (The huge turnout made for some tough decision-making for director Kory Weimer!) We are delighted to introduce our newest cast, who will begin "fight camp" next week to prepare for the many exciting battle scenes in this December production. Tickets go on sale November 4.
Relive your middle school years!
Ah, middle school — that gloriously awkward, wonderful time. Our hilarious 2016 season opener, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, features a cast of nine adult actors, six of whom get to portray a likeable bunch of eccentric middle schoolers. Sound like fun? Auditions are Sunday, November 8 at 1:00 pm (with callbacks at 4:00 pm the same day). More details on our website.
We gratefully acknowledge the support of our 2015 sponsors . . .
. . . and our hundreds of individual donors. Thank you!
