Hyland Prairie (Ryver Ressel) - Community Service Event for National 4-H Week
In honor of National 4-H Week (October 5-12), it is recommended to participate in a community service event. The members in attendance decided to have a food drive at the next meeting. All are encouraged to bring items to the next meeting. Vivian Lichty stated she will see if her mother can help coordinate another radio event for National 4-H week.

Hats off to Hyland Prairie 4-H club. Their club was in a drawing for a $50 gift card towards our National 4H Week community service project. The members decided to have a food drive at the October Meeting.
- Hats off to Portland Boosters for their work helping host the National 4-H Dairy Conference at the Crave Farm. They met Dean Karl Martin from UW Madison, and he gave a shout out on his Extension Monthly meeting this week!

Each year Dodge County 4-H Leaders offer scholarships to support youth attending educational experience trips. Applicants submit a cover letter, resume and reference page along with an application. The final step in the process is to participate in a short interview process. Interviews will be coordinated with each applicant. The following materials must be received by the Dodge County Extension Office (in paper form), emailed to marie.witzel@wisc.edu, or submitted digitally before 4:30pm November 1st:

It's that time, Wisconsin 4-H!🍦🍀
Cedar Crest Ice Cream and the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation have teamed up once again to present the “Cedar Crest Ice Cream 4-H Flavor Creation Contest” for Wisconsin 4-H clubs. All Wisconsin 4-H clubs are eligible to submit their ideas for a new ice cream flavor, along with a flavor description and interesting flavor name. Entries are being accepted now through November 15!
