MUY Hamburger Partners, LLC (“MHP”), a San Antonio, Texas-based restaurant operating company owned by James Bodenstedt and members of his senior management team, has obtained a total of $232,250,000 of financing, including a $180,000,000 senior secured term loan, a $40,000,000 development/remodel line of credit and a $12,250,000 revolving line of credit.
MHP, the world’s second largest Wendy’s franchisee, currently operates 315 restaurants in five states. Affiliates, MUY Pizza and MUY Brands operate 365 Pizza Huts and 78 Taco Bells. Collectively, the MUY family of companies operates 758 restaurants in 17 states, employs about 22,000 people and generates almost $1 billion in annual revenue. MUY is currently ranked number five in the Restaurant Finance Monitor’s list of the 200 largest franchise restaurant companies in the country.
