Remembering 2018 and wishing everyone a Happy 2019!
New Year's Countdown
Dear Friend ~ As we prepare to ring in 2019, we pause and reflect on what a memorable year 2018 was. We are especially thankful to all who helped us celebrate the National Cryptologic Museum's 25th anniversary. And as always, we are grateful to the Foundation's members and friends who helped support our mission by attending programs, renewing memberships, making donations, becoming a Founder or donor for the new museum project (Cyber Center for Education and Innovation), volunteering time, and spreading the word about the Museum & Foundation.
You can still make an end-of-year donation or renew your membership online. Thank you for helping to preserve cryptologic history, as well as promote vital cybersecurity initiatives. We look forward to seeing you in 2019!
THANK YOU and please enjoy a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
FROM THE BLOG: The Friedman Holiday Cryptogram
Friedman Holiday Cryptogram
In December 1928, Elizebeth and William Friedman sent a coded holiday gram to friends and loved ones. The codebreaking couple fortunately included a grille overlay that with a series of quarter turns would reveal the complete message. In 2017, Museum & Foundation supporters, Bill & Jew-Lee Briere held a special celebration at the Museum in honor of the Friedman's wedding anniversary. The Briere's created a crypto-cablegram as a special souvenier for those who attended. Click HERE to learn more and see if you can solve it!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION & SUPPORT
