Dear Friend,

Given the changing travel restrictions imposed here in Chicago due to COVID-19, we've decided the best option is for us to hold our next retreat, TC15-#8 on October 25-27, as a completely virtual retreat. 

While we are not planning to hold virtual retreats as a matter of course, this retreat lends itself well to a virtual experience because a good portion of the retreat includes videotaped sessions with Dr. Bob Mulholland.  Because TC15 is so far along in the community experience, we feel confident you will be able handle this well and gain maximum benefit from moving forward on the journey in this way.    

Be on the look out for an important communication from Ruth in a couple weeks, with encouragement and ideas for ways to create a sacred retreat environment wherever you may be.

Live Stream Retreat 


On October 25-27, we will be live streaming the entire retreat in the same format as we would have in person. This will be interactive; we will participate in fixed-hour prayer together, Q&A and even have our important solitude and silence in the afternoon the second day. There will be more details to come about logistics, but for now, please plan to be present for the entirety of these dates. 

We suggest you start thinking through a way to create a set-apart space either in your own home, a retreat center or hotel near you to be as free from distractions as possible. It could also be that you have friends or family whose home is quieter than your own and who would support your spiritual journey by allowing you to be in their home for these days.

Refunds


For those of you who have personally paid for your TC experience, you will receive a $300 refund. 

If you received a scholarship or are being fully/partially sponsored, we can refund you (up to $300) for any accomodation costs you might incure to find a quiet space to retreat. Please email us your receipts. 

If you are interested in turning your refund into a donation to help offset virtual production costs and the ongoing ministry of the Transforming Center, we would welcome that!

We will be sending a form in a couple weeks for you to indicate which option you choose.
